Overview
OpenLearn is a learning initiative that allows users to come together to form online learning communities. The concept is simple:
Find a course you are interested in.
OpenLearn will offer a variety of courses in anything from natural sciences to humanities. OpenLearn is in pre-alpha phase, so the number of course offerings should increase with time. This project relies on user contribution. Don't see a course that you want to take? Create it!
Access the course resources.
Each course should include:
- Course literature
- An open textbook provided under a GNU Free Document License (GFDL) or
- A fully or nearly completed Wikibook or
- Properly sourced material from the web (this does not include copyrighted material not licensed for redistribution)
- Plan of study (syllabus)
- Enrichment exercises
Contribute.
- Summarize topics with digital course mates into individual wikis
